Colossians Chp. 1 Vs. 1-14
Paul is a prisoner in Rome. He has never visited the city of Colossi.
He has heard of these believers while in was in Ephesus.
The believers in this city were confused with a mixture of astrology (signs in the stars), magic, and Judaism (Jewish laws).
Jesus was being thought of as some kind of angel.
Paul explains that Jesus is God come down to man in human shape.

Verse 1 ,2 Paul and Timothy are together—-writing this letter.
They give words of greeting.
Verse 3 Paul said that he prayed for them. He has heard that they trust in Jesus.
5807. Verse 5 You do this because you are looking forward to (hope for) the joys of ___________________.
Verse 6 This same Good News is being preached all over and is changing lives.
