5758. Vs. 1 Paul is in a prison in Rome when he writes this letter.

5766. Vs. 12 I want you to understand—-that the things that have happened to me—-have worked to spread the gospel farther.
Vs. 13 So that my bonds are seen in the palace (king’s house) and in other places.
Vs. 14 Many of the Christian brothers —seeing me in prison—-have become brave to speak out more for Jesus without f_____________.
5767. Vs. 15 There are some who preach because of selfish reasons. They are not sincere (true). But others preach from a true heart of good will.
Vs. 16 Some preach of Christ —hoping to make me feel bad about my being in prison.
Vs. 17 , 18 But whether they preach with a sincere heart or not—–still the g________________ is being preached. And that makes me r_____________________.
5768. Vs. 19 But I know that as you pray for me—-this will help me.
Vs. 20 My hope is that in nothing will I be a__________________.
So that Christ will be magnified (given glory)—whether I live or die.

5770. Vs. 22 If I live —-this is the “fruit” of my labor (work).
(I do not know what I would choose—-life here or death and heaven.)
Vs. 23 I have a desire to depart (leave) this life and be with Chirst—-which is far b________________.
V.s 24 But for me to live here is more n__________________ for you.
Vs. 25 I feel sure that I will continue on with you and to help you grow further in f_________________.
And that you will rejoice for me coming to you again.
5771. Vs. 27 Let your conversation (talking) be so that it brings glory to the gospel.
So that whether I come to you—or not—-I will hear good reports of you . That you will stand true and faithful —-in one spirit—-working together for the f_______________ of the g_________________.
5772. Vs. 28 Do not be afraid of those who are against you.
When they hear the gospel—they hear of punishment for their sins.
For you—the gospel means salvation.
Vs. 29 For you —who believe on Him—it is salvation—–but also that you will have to s______________ for his sake.
Vs. 30 This is the same conflict—(problem) I have had—-and now I am in prison for it.
