Hello,
These words of Jesus will make us think:
“When the Son of Man returns to earth, it will be as lightning out of one part of heaven that shines unto the other part——so it will be when the Son of Man comes.
In that night there will be two men in bed; one will be taken, and the other left behind.
Two women will be grinding together; the one will be taken, and the other left.
Two men will be working in the field; one will be taken, and one will be left.”
Luke 17: 24,34,35,36 Matthew 24: 36-51
Jesus is coming to earth again—the second time.
But before He comes to rule as king on this earth, He comes in the clouds to catch up the believers. This “catching up” is called the rapture.
In these verses in Luke, Jesus is talking about when He will come in the clouds. It will not be a hidden or secret thing. Everyone will know about it.
When Jesus comes in the clouds, He is going to take up into the clouds all people who have their hearts right with God.
People who have sin in their lives, people who do not care what God thinks, people who never think about God—–will not go up in the clouds with Jesus.
Jesus said they will be left behind.
People who have asked for forgiveness of their sins and have stopped sinning,—- people who are obeying God, people who are following Jesus’ teachings——they will go up with Jesus.
Those left behind will go on to live here on earth and go about life as usual. But life on earth will soon become very hard.
The Holy Spirit will not be on earth any more. He will be up in heaven with the Christians. So the Holy Spirit and the Christians will not be on earth to help stop the sin and bad things.
People on earth will not care about God. They will do any sin they want. Stealing, lying, killing, cheating, mean things will be happen more than before.
There will not be any Christians or godly people to try to stop them —– or tell them it is wrong.
A man will become the leader of the world. There will be a one world-government.
All people will use the same money system.
The Bible says that one man will make everyone use the same way of buying and selling.
They will have a mark made on their hand or on their forehead. If you want to buy or sell anything—-you will have to have that mark.
We have seen with the Covid Virus and the vaccine—-laws were made that if you did not have the vaccine—you could not keep your job. If you did not wear a mask—-you were not allowed into places.
Israel —the Jewish people—will trust this leader at first. After about 3 ½ years, this leader will show his true nature and be against the Jewish people.
During this time, terrible things will be happening on earth.
There will be terrible earthquakes, hurricane, storms.
Terrible sickness will go around the world and kill millions of people. . Even the animals in the oceans will get sick and die.
There will be many earthquakes and storms. There will be sickness.
Pieces of stars (meteors) will fall down on earth and make awful problems.
The book of Revelation tells about this time that is coming.
In Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, Jesus talks about these coming days.
There will be a few people who will repent and believe in Jesus.
Some people will understand what happened when they see the “rapture” of Christians.
They will remember things they were taught. They will repent (turn from) of their sin and ask Jesus to be their savior.
It will be hard to be a Christian because the laws will be against them.
Most likely they will be killed for being Christians.
It will be terrible time for all people on earth.
I do not want to be here. I plan to live in a way that I will be ready to go up in the clouds with Jesus when He comes.
You must make your own decision.
We do not know when Jesus will come. We can see that the time is getting closer.
Prophets told that Jesus would come the first time, Jesus came just way they said.
Prophets have said that Jesus will come the second time. Jesus has said—- He will come again.
If it happened the first time like they said—it will happen the second time, too.
Will you ready when Jesus comes ?
Good-bye for now. I’ll write again.
Sincerely, Joyce Webb
