Acts Chapter 13 Vs. 14-52

4238. Verse 14 Paul and Barnabas went to the town of A_____________ (in the country that we now call Turkey in the south-central area).

Paul always went to the Jewish people first—-to tell them about Jesus. If they accepted what he said—or if they were interested in what he said—he stayed with them for a time to explain things and preach to them.

If they did not want to hear about Jesus—-then he went to the Gentiles in the town and preached to them.

4239. After the reading of the scriptures, the Jewish leaders asked Paul if they had anything they wanted to say to the people.

Verses 16-41 Paul gave a history of the Jewish people—from the Old Testament times—to when Jesus was with them—Jesus’ death and coming to life again.

They began to talk against Paul.
