Hello,
In John 6:63 Jesus said, “It is the spirit that quickens ( gives life),—the flesh profits nothing (can not do it).

As Christians, we want to see other people come to believing in Christ.

We talk to them. We try to get them to see the truth about Jesus. We encourage them. We may try very much in many ways —-to get them to believe in Jesus.

Jesus has given us the “key” —–an Old Testament verse tells it very well:
“It is not by might, not by power, but by the Spirit—- says the Lord.” Zechariah 4:6

So many churches—-have big fancy programs thinking they will get people interested in becoming Christians. Mostly, it is all for nothing.

Much of our activity and doing—-is for nothing.

It is the Spirit of the Lord that speaks to people’s hearts—–and pulls them toward God.

We need less fancy programs —and more prayer. We need more of the Spirit of God moving and speaking to people.

It is not about us—and what we can say—or do. It is only the Spirit of God—–that can pull people to Himself.

Give more time in prayer. Give more time in asking God to speak to people’s hearts.

It is about —-what God does. It is about what the Holy Spirit will do—–in bringing others to believing in Jesus.

Do not think that fancy church programs—will win people for Jesus. It will be a waste of time and money. It will give entertainment, — but that does not mean the Spirit of God will be in it.

Paul said, “ By the foolishness of preaching,—-to save them that believe.” I Corinthians 1:21

Preaching is not fancy. It is simple. It all about what the Holy Spirit will do in the hearts of people who hear the truth. It is not about fancy programs.

Keep it simple. Remember it is the work of the Holy Spirit—-that brings people to Christ.
