     Every Christian should Memorize

By Joyce Webb 2025

Every Christian should know and memorize Bible verses that are the foundation of his faith.

What do you believe as a Christian? Do you know any Bible verses that tell this?

There are many Bible verses to show what we believe as Christian—but we can not memorize all of them.

Here are some:

We have all sinned and done wrong.

Romans 3:23 “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

Isaiah 64:6 “But we are all as an unclean thing——all of our righteousness —-( our “goodness”) —– is as filthy (dirty) rags.

“There is none that doeth good,—-no not one.“ Psalms 14: 3 and Psalms 53: 3

Sin brings death in hell forever.

Romans 6:23 “For the wages (payment) for sin——is death; but the gift of God is eternal life—— through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

John 3:18 “ He that believeth on him —- is not condemned (blamed),
but he that believeth not—– is condemned already,——-because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

(The Bible also says that if a person does not believe that Jesus is God’s son, that person will not have eternal life.)

I John 5:12 “He that has the Son,—-has life,—–he that has not the Son, has not life.”.

The Bible also says that the “unbelieving” will not go to heaven.

Revelation 21:8 “But the fearful, and unbelieving ——shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone:——–which is the second death. “

Revelation 20:12 “ I saw the dead ——-small and great——stand before God;
And the books were opened: —–and another book was opened, which is the book of life:
And the dead were judged —–out of those things that were written in the books, according to their works (what the person did.

Revelation 20:15 “And who so ever——was not found —–written in the book of life was cast (thrown) into the lake of fire.

We can have our sins forgiven and live forever in heaven.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world ——-that he gave his only begotten son—-that whosoever believeth in him ——-should not perish (die)——but have everlasting life.”

I John 1:9 “If we confess our sin,——-he is faithful and just——to forgive us our sins,
and to cleanse (clean) us from all unrighteousness (all wrong and sin).”

Romans 10:9 “That if thou (you) confess (admit, say) with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart—– that God has raised him from the dead,—– you shall be saved.:”

Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven.

John 14:6 “Jesus said unto him, I am the way,—the truth—-and the life”—-no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

Acts 4:12 Peter said—”Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven whereby we must be saved.”

Jesus is God

John 10:30 Jesus said: “I and my Father are one.”

John 10:38 Jesus said: “…the Father is in me, and I in him.”

Matthew 3:17 (When Jesus was being baptized in water by John the Baptist).
“And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom, I am well pleased.?

You need to have your sins forgiven before you die.

Hebrews 9:27 “It is appointed unto to men once to die, but after this the judgment.”

When we believe in Jesus—— and confess our sins—– and ask for forgiveness——-then our name is—–kept/written——in God’s Book of Life.

It would be good to memorize——-some of these verses.

It would be good to write them in the pages at the beginning or end of your Bible.
