Prophecy #14

His bones would not be broken.

In the Passover meal—-when preparing the lamb to roast (cook)
—they were not to break a bone of the animal.

Exodus 12:46 “….neither shall ye break a bone thereof.”

Numbers 9:12 “…nor break any bone of it.”

Psalms 34:20 “He keepeth all his bones; not one of them is broken.”

When Jesus was on the cross. The soldiers came to him.
It was a custom to break the legs of men on the cross to make them die faster.)

John 19: 33 “But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs.”

Vs. 36 “For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, ‘A bone of him shall not be broken.’”

Prophecy #15

They would hit Jesus on the cheek.

Micah 5:1 “they shall smite (hit) the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.”

The next verse—Micah 5:2 tells that the ruler of Israel will come out of Bethlehem.

Isaiah 50:6 “I gave my back to the smitters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair; I hid not my face from shame and spitting.”

Matthew 27:30 “And they spit upon him, and took a reed, and smote (hit) him on the head.”

Matthew 26:67 “ Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted (hit)
him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands.”

John 20:25-29 “……..Except I shall see his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side…….”

Prophecy #17

They would divide up his clothing.

Psalms 22:18 “They part my garments (clothes) among them, and cast lots upon my vesture (outer robe).”

John 19:23-24 “Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part;
And also his coat; now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout. (It was woven as one whole piece. Not pieces sewn together.)

They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend (tear it into pieces)—-but cast lots (flip a coin), whose it shall be;

That the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, ‘They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots.’ “.
