I Corinthians Chp 15 Vs 45-58
5410. Paul is writing to the people in Corinth. Some of the believers there were doubting that there was a r________________ of the body at the end of time.
5411. Vs. 45 Paul said, It is written in the scriptures—that ____________ was the first man and was made a living soul.
5412. The last “Adam” was (who?) ____________ was made a “quickening” spirit—or a spirit that gives life.

Vs. 48 Those made of earth are earthly. Those that are of heaven are heavenly.

Our earthly bodies are “corrupt”—will die, rot, return to dirt— from which we came.
That body can not become a heavenly body.
5418. Vs. 51 Look, I will show you a “mystery”—an amazing thing that is hard to understand—-We shall not all s_____________—die—-but we shall all be c__________________.
5419. Vs. 52 In a t___________________ (less than a blink) of an eye—-so fast—when the last t_______________ of God sounds—the d____________ shall be raised—-they will have a body that is not “corrupt” or earthly—they will have a h_______________ body that can live forever in heaven.
Vs. 53 Because—this earthly body that dies and stops working—will have put on a new heavenly body that will live forever.
5420. Vs. 54 So after this earthly body puts on a heavenly body —-
Then the saying—-” D___________ is swallowed up in V____________” will have come true.
Vs. 55 And we can say as Hosea said—-”O death where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory? Hosea 13:14
5421. Vs. 56 The sting of death is s_______. (Adam sinned—it brought death.)
The strength of sin is the law—in other words—the law gives sin power. God’s laws show up our sin. We see how we have missed the “mark” of being righteous.
5422. Vs. 57 But thanks be to God—-He has given us the v_____________ (over death) through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Vs. 58 So—my loved brothers in Christ—-be steady and true—do not move from your faith—always be doing the work of the Lord.
For you know that the work you do for the Lord is not in vain or useless.
