I do not want you to be ignorant (not knowing)

5321. Verse 2 You were G________________, carried away into (worshipping) ________________________.

5322. Verse 3 I want you to understand. No man, who has the S____________ of G________ would say that Jesus was cursed.

And—no man—can say that J____________ is L_____________ but by the ________ _____________.

5323. Verse 4 There are many different gifts, but they are
(from) the same ______________.

5324. Verse 5 There are different administrations
(different kinds of ministry) , but the same ___________.

5325. Verse 6 There are many different operations, but it is the same ___________ that works in all of them.

5326. Verse 7 The manisfestation (showing) of the
________________ is given to every __________ to be a profit and blessing.
5327. Verse 8 To one person, the Spirit may give the
___________ of ________________.

(Meaning—the giving of advice that is very wise and helpful.)

5327. Verse 8 To another person, the Spirit may give the
_____________ of ______________________.

(Meaning—God shows them—or speaks something into their mind and spirit—about something.

Example: God may warn them that something is not right and they should be careful in what they choose to do.

Example: God may whisper to them—- that the person is lying,

Or, God may whisper to them —that a person has a certain sickness.

Or, God may whisper to them—- something to tell another person.

Or God may whisper to them some truth—about something—that they would have no way of knowing—unless God had told them.

This “knowledge” is to be a warning, or of a help to the other person.

5328. Verse 9 God may give the gift of f___________.
(Meaning—extra faith—big faith—-more than what the average person has.

A man by the name of George Mueller started an orphanage for children who had no parents. George had little money.
But he felt that he should take care of these children.
So he had them in his home.

Soon there were many children in his home.

Many times, there was no food to feed all these children.

George prayed, sometime during the day—— there was a knock on the door, someone brought them food—-or someone gave them money.

There is a book about all the things George prayed for—-for many years and for hundreds of children—-God gave George the faith to pray and believe that God would meet their needs. God met every need.

It is a book of wonderful answers to prayer.

George had a gift of “faith”—more than most people have.

Other people have had the gift of faith and God has answered their prayers and used these people to help many others.

5329. Verse 9 To another person may be give the gift of
______________________.

Through the years —-there have been many men and some women—-whom God has given the gift to pray for people and the are healed. Many miracles of healing have happened.

5330. Verse 10 To another person, God may give the gift of doing m____________________.

(Miracles are something that happens that is beyond what is normal. Or what is scientifically impossible.

Meaning—- God has made something happen—-or has stopped something from happening—-that is beyond normal possibility.

Example: Many people had been praying for the safety of former President Donald Trump. When we was speaking at a rally in Butler, PA in the summer of 2024—-someone tried to shoot him. Just as the bullet was coming at Trump, he happened to turn his head just a few inches, — the bullet hit his ear—it missed going into Trump’s head by less than ¼ of an inch—3mm.

People call that a miracle.

That “miracle” was not done by one person praying.
It was all the people who had been praying all along for God to keep Trump save.

Jesus did miracles that were different from healing people—-such as making bread and fish to feed the crowd of people, stopping the storm on the sea, making fish come together to be caught in the disciples fish nets, etc.

The Old Testament prophets did many miracles that were different from healings.

A person with the gift of miracles would be able to pray for things to happen that only God could make happen—- and it would be called a miracle.

5331. Verse 10 God may give some one the gift of
P_____________________.

(Being able to tell what will happen in the future.

Not a “fortune teller” who does it by a crystal ball, or cards, or reading the palm of your hand, or reading the stars —or contacting evil spirits.
The Bible speaks against those kinds of people.

There have been men and some women—-to whom God has given dreams and visions of things to come.

The Bible says that we will know a true prophet—- if what he says—– happens.

5332. Verse 10 Gift of d_________________ of
_____________.

Discerning—having a understanding, having a knowledge of something.

An inner knowing.

God gives some a special knowing of the intentions and purpose of another person. Perhaps knowing that an evil spirit is in that person. Or knowing that the person is planning something evil or wrong.

5333. Verse 10 Gift of divers kinds (different kind)
of t_____________________.

Meaning—-different kind of language than what you normally speak.

Acts Chp. 2, Acts 8:17, Acts 10:46, Acts 11:15,16
Acts 19:2-6—–all these verses talk about believers receiving the “baptism of the Holy Spirit” and speaking in
“tongues” or in another language—-as the Spirit moved on them and caused them to speak.

5334. Verse 10 Gift of i__________________ “tongues”.

When someone spoke out in a church service—-under the move of the Holy Spirit—and they spoke in tongues—-usually no one could understand them.

So, the Spirit moved on another person to speak the interpretation of what was said.

Verse 11 All these “gifts” of the Spirit—-are all given by the same Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit gives these gifts to men as the Holy Spirit chooses.

The purpose is for the help, guidance, and building up of believers.
