Romans      Chapter 15 Verses 1-20

5109. Verse 1 We who are s______________ should bear (help carry) the infirmities of the weak. ( weakness in someone, flaws, short-comings, their doubts and fears)

We should not just please ourselves.

5110. Verse 2 Let every one of us please his n_______________ for his good—to build him up.

5111. Verse 3 Christ did not please himself. In the scripture (Psalms 69:9) those people who insulted you —that insult also came to me.

Verse 4 Those things that were written long ago are for our l_______________. That we—through p_______________ and comfort of the s____________________ might have hope.

5112. Verse 5 Now—God who has p___________________—-help us be like-minded. (Let us be like God—patient, encouraging others.)

5113. Verse 6 So that you will have one mind (agree with one another).
So that you all together will glorify God—-Jesus Christ.

Verse 7 Let us receive one another, as Christ received us. Then God will get the glory.

Verse 8 Jesus Christ came to m_____________.
He brought the truth of God. He showed that God is true to his p________________.

Verse 12 Again, Isaiah 11:1—”There shall be a root of Jesse—-meaning of the Jewish people—-He (Christ)—will rise to reign (rule) over the Gentiles. In him, shall the Gentiles trust.”

5117. Verse 13 Now, the God of h________—–fill you with all j________ and p_____________ in believing. So that you will abound (be greatly) in hope. Through the p___________ of the Holy Ghost (Spirit).

5118. Verse 14 I completely believe (am persuaded) of you, my brothers in Christ, that you also are full of g____________________,
and k______________________, and are able to admonish (teach) one another.

Verse 15 I have written in strong plain words about these things. Just to remind you. I do it because of God’s grace shown to me.

Verse 16 I am by God’s grace, a minister to the Gentiles. I offer up to the Lord —the Gentiles—-like an offering—-that is acceptable to God and is made holy by the Holy Spirit.

Verse 17 I glory in this—I rejoice in this—that I have been able to minister to the Gentiles—bringing them to Christ.

Verse 18 I do not speak of things which I have not done. I have brought the gospel message to the Gentiles—so that they can walk in obedience to God. I have given them an example of myself. I have walked in obedience to God—-by my words, and my actions.

5119. Verse 19 Also, the Gentiles have seen mighty s___________ and w_______________ (miracles) done by the Spirit of God.

People in Jerusalem, and all around—even to Illyricum have heard about it.

Verse 20 Yes, I have tried to preach the gospel, —not in places where they already knew the gospel—but in places where they had not heard the gospel.
