Verse 13 People did not know they were doing sin until the law was given.

Verse 14 When Adam sinned, God said death would happen. Death of our body and death of our soul in hell.

People died—from Adam to Moses’ time—-then the law/commandments were given. Then people knew what God laws were about sin.

Verse 15 One man—-Adam brought sin into the world—–and one man— Jesus brought forgiveness.

Verse 16-17-18 Adam’s sin brought judgment and blame. Jesus brought a free gift of forgiveness and life.

Verse 19 By one man‘s disobedience–judgment and death came, and by one man’s obedience —-forgiveness, righteousness, and life came.

Verse 20 When the law came,— sin and judgment came. When Jesus came–grace and forgiveness came.

Verse 21 The law showed people how sinful they were. Sin ruled over the people—-and brought death.

Now, because of Jesus, we can have right standing with God and have eternal life.
