There was a big meeting in one of the buildings in Ephesus. The men were complaining about Paul preaching to the people about God and Jesus. Many of the people began to believe in Jesus.
When they believed in Jesus—-they did not worship the idol Diana any more. The men who made silver statues of Diana—-were angry. So many people were not buying the statue idols any more.
The men were losing business and money.
The leaders at the meeting told the men to stop shouting and to be quiet. They told them that they needed to go home.
