Bible Questions # 2608-2616
Mark 10:28-
Vs. 28 Peter tells Jesus that they the disciples have left all to follow Jesus.
These 12 men have given 3 and more years to follow Jesus. They have walked from town to town. Jesus has been talking to them and explaining many things about God and the scriptures. Jesus has been doing many miracles. Jesus sent the disciples out on their own to towns to talk to people and do miracles.
Some of these men were married and had families. To give these years of their life following Jesus around was a big decision for them. Someone had to look after their families while they were going around with Jesus.
The only money they had was money given to them as offerings. Money they shared to pay for food or the things they needed.
They had given up much to follow Jesus.

Maybe some woman hidden away in a home taking care of things but is a person who prays for many people and has helped others quietly may be the one God gives great honor to in heaven. Here on earth, she may look like she is “last”, but in heaven she may have great honor.)
