God speaks of all the things in nature that God has made. He asks Job if Job was wise enough to make such things. Job says, No. Job understands that God is so wise and so smart so far above man that it does not make sense to argue with God. Job says in Job 42::5 That he had heard of how wonderful God was—–but now he sees with his own eyes how wonderful and big God is. Job feels humble. He says that he repents of his feelings of pride about himself when he thinks about God.

It seems the lesson to be learned from Job is:
Job did not know that the reason he lost everything and had boils was because God trusted him so much that He let Satan take away everything. God knew that Job would still have faith in Him. God knew that Job would keep on loving Him and trusting Him no matter what happened. God was sure of Job. God loved Job. God was “proud” of Job.
Job never saw that. For Job all he saw was the trouble he had.
If Job could have seen the reason behind all his problems he would have been even more patient as it was Job was patient and true. But he still felt a little upset and angry that he had to go through all of this when he had been true to God.
We do not know why God lets us go through some things. Job never knew that God was showing Satan how faithful Job was.
We do not know God’s reasons for us to see trouble. Let us be like Job and keep faith and trust in God. Let us not become angry or bitter. Let us not turn away from God. Some day we will have a reward for being true. Notice, God was in control. Satan was only allowed to do some things. Satan was limited by God. No matter what happens to us remember God is in control of all.
