The king was surprised that they were back so soon. Vs. 7 So the messengers told the king what Elijah said. Vs.8,9 The king did not like it—so he sent (how many) _______ men to find Elijah.
743. Vs. 10 The captain told Elijah to come with him. Elijah did not want to go. Elijah had told the king what God said so Elijah did not feel any need to see the king. Elijah probably knew the king was angry and might kill him.
