Chapter 27 Verses 1- 10       Read the Bible verses. Morning was beginning and the priest and Jewish leaders had decided to have Jesus killed. They had made a decision about Jesus and then they took him to the Roman governor, Pilate. The Jewish leaders under Roman rule were not allowed to put someone to death.
