218. When Moses and Aaron get to Egypt, how do the Hebrews receive them? Exo. 4: 29-31

220. The Hebrew leaders go to Pharaoh and ask him to not be so hard on them, but he does not change his mind. So the Hebrew leaders go to Moses. What do they tell him? Exo. 5: 20-21

Many times we feel the same way We pray for an answer----then things get worse---and we think God is not listening.
But God knew that things had to get worse before Pharaoh would let the people go.
Moses and the Hebrew people would have to be patient as God worked things out. We have to learn the same lesson.

After the Hebrew slaves left Egypt, the nation of Egypt began to become weaken. Their power became less and less. Finally, they are no longer a great power, Today, Egypt is a very poor country. There are no more Pharaohs. And no one worships the leader of Egypt now.
